Time for some Slow Food

This Saturday, September 5th from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m., in our continuing series of Chef Demos coordinated by Katonah Green, the folks from Slow Food will be  at the Gossett’s Farm Market to slowely cook up something wonderful.

We’ll be giving out free food samples, so come and join your friends and neighbors this Labor day weekend and be part of the fun. Get all your fresh meats, fruits, veggies and milk in a relaxing environment that is right in your own backyard.

Slow Food is a non-profit, eco-gastronomic member-supported organization that was founded in 1989 to counteract fast food and fast life, the disappearance of local food traditions and people’s dwindling interest in the food they eat, where it comes from, how it tastes and how our food choices affect the rest of the world.

To do that, Slow Food brings together pleasure and responsibility, and makes them inseparable.
