Honey Wheat Pizza Crust Recipe

Honey Wheat Pizza Crust recipe:

1 (.25oz) package of active yeast

1 Cup warm water

2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour

1/4 Cup wheat germ

1 teaspoon salt (optional)

1 Tablespoon Honey

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water and let stand until creamy (about 10 minutes). In a large bowl, combine wheat flour, wheat germ, and salt.  Make a well in the middle and pour in yeast and honey, stir well to combine. Cover and set in a warm place to rise for a few minutes. Roll out dough on a floured surface, poke with a fork, ad place in pre-heated oven for 5-10 minutes until desired crispiness.

    Does the pizza crust get cooked before toppings or with toppings on it?

    Hi Susan- yes, she cooked the pizza for about 10 minutes before bringing it to the market.
